It really comes down to the way you visualize. Do you visualize in the first person or the third person? One of these methods will give you everything you want while the other method will keep you wondering why visualization hasn’t worked (yet).
First, I’ll explain the difference between the first and third person.
1st person would be through your own eyes, or in an associated state. In this case you are in fact the dreamer doing the visualization.
3rd Person: this is visualization that occurs when you are a ghost or in a disassociated state.
Attraction is preceded by the Law of Vibration. Your vibration is what attracts. And you can always measure your own vibration based on how you feel. If you feel good, you’re in a high vibration. If you feel bad you’re in a lower frequency of vibration.
How do you change your vibration?
By changing your feelings. Here is a quick test to do exactly that.
Just be the observer at this point. Imagine that you’re on the beach somewhere hot, maybe the Caribbean. Now picture yourself sitting on the beach, lying in the sand staring up into the sky. Notice how you feel.
This time you’re going to make a slight change. Instead of being the third person, you’re going to be the first person. You want to have the experience through your own eyes. Pay attention to the contrast and shades in the sky; the warm sun and the soft sand. How does that make you feel?
The experience of being the first person will always generate stronger feelings than seeing yourself in the dream. Your vibration is multiplied when you can feel those feelings during the vibration. It also means your giving more power to your mental image or visualization.
When you get into the feeling of your visualization you’ve effectively increased your vibration. And by increasing your vibration, you’ve accelerated your ability to attract those experiences into your life. The subconscious mind works best with emotions; so the better then feeling you get, the better your ability to attract.
You see, you’re vibration is directly linked to the way you feel. Feel good and you’ve got a high vibration. Feel bad and you’ll lower your frequency of vibration.
3rd Person Visualization
There are some fringe benefits to visualizing in the third person:
* As the observer you can see yourself in a new light when dealt with challenges; a new perspective is sometimes all you need to tackle tough obstacles.
* Being the observer allows you to distance yourself from negative feelings. In some situations this can provide more clarity and calmness of mind. And with calmness of mind comes better thinking power.
* Visualizing in the third person allows you to see your own blind spots. It gives you the privilege and opportunity to see yourself the way others see you.
If you want to be skillful co-creator, both types of visualization are important. Become masterful at visualization so that you can intentionally create your life experience.
