Telepathy is a form of communication which does not use the five standard senses. Instead of getting your thoughts across through speech or visually, telepathic communication works through a direct mind-to-mind link. It’s a useful skill which every man and woman innately possesses and with practice, you too can communicate this way.

Whether you know it or not, you’ve already experienced telepathic communication. For example, when you start thinking of someone and you receive a call or letter from them right afterwards.

You may be tempted to chalk these occurrences up to coincidence. However, that’s not what it was: these are instances where you have received a telepathic signal from someone else.

This contact then precipitated more conventional communication such as a letter or a phone call. Whether you thought of them first and they received these thoughts or the other way around, this telepathic link between the two of you is what brought you into communication with each other. The other person may have been meaning to get in touch and your telepathy picked up on this, leading you to think of them.

Despite being very common, most people are doubtful of the existence of telepathy or that learning telepathy is something which they can do. A lot of us are held back by religious indoctrination which teaches us that these kinds of abilities are certainly the work of evil forces. Others are reserving judgment, doubting telepathy unless and until it is scientifically proven and accepted as fact.

Others think that if telepathy was important that the ability would come to us more easily. Of course, this argument doesn’t add up; it’s not as if we’re born knowing how to speak the language which we think of as our mother tongue. The idea that telepathy is without value is just as misguided as the opinion that this and other psychic abilities are the handiwork of the Devil. Telepathic communication and verbal communication can be thought of as the two sides of the same coin.

In fact, spoken language and telepathy can be complements to each other. Sometimes the spoken word is incapable of expressing exactly what we mean; conversely, telepathy can sometimes fail to convey the shadings and nuances that spoken language can. Being able to communicate with both allows you to make yourself completely understood.

Developing your telepathic communication abilities has a number of benefits. It is literally learning a sixth sense and lets you communicate in a more direct and intimate way with those around you. While it’s not hard to learn telepathy per se, it does take practice like acquiring any new skill.

Partnering up with a close friend who is also interested in learning telepathy is the best way to practice this natural ability. It makes learning easier, quicker and more fun too!

Your practice sessions should be done with you at your home and your partner at theirs. This keeps you from picking up on facial expressions and other cues. Make sure that you’re both relaxed and free of stress before you begin; this will facilitate your communications.

One of you needs to go first and try to clearly visualize your partner. Visualize a connection between the two of you; many people find a beam of light to be a helpful image to concentrate on.

Use this link to send a thought or an image. Send simple signals to begin with which are clear and easy to understand; but complex enough that it would be hard to guess.

After you feel that you have sent your telepathic signal, call your partner to ask what they received from you. Once you compare notes, take a few minutes to rest and then switch places with the sender in the first exercise now being the receiver.

You do need to be patient as you learn telepathy; it takes time to learn this skill and it’s important not to let yourself get frustrated if it doesn’t always work. If you dont think your transmission has been successful after 15 minutes, take a break and try again later. Otherwise, you’ll just wear yourself out.

You’ll need to practice regularly and keep a positive attitude as you learn telepathy. Stick with it and don’t get frustrated if you don’t succeed at first. If you’re patient, you’ll be using your telepathy sooner than you think and you’ll gain a wonderful new perspective on the world.
