Single individuals are not able to get Seattle Auto Insurance as cheap as married couples. The car industry also has an age limit for drivers too. For example, if you are a 23 year old male your premium will be higher than a 29 year old male with all the other factors equal.

High risk young drivers that are considered to be high risk will be offered a higher premium than those that are less risk. Male drivers with a poor driving history and are under the age of 25 will be given quite a high price. But on the other hand, insurance providers do not generally see single women as high risk so their premium will be cheaper.

Not only your age and sex determine the insurance premium that you will receive. There are a number of factors that are considered to determine your premium.

Where you live will be used to calculate how high your premium will be. Living in an area with little traffic and crime will allow you to be able to receive a more favorable insurance premium.

Your driving record will also be taken into consideration. Speeding or drinking tickets will result in you having to pay higher auto insurance rates. Insurance providers can look at your driving record as far back as 10 years.

The type and age of your vehicle will be taken into account. You will also be asked how many claims for accidents that you have filed. Your job and level of education will also affect your premium.

Obviously there are a lot of items taken into consideration when an insurance provider calculates the insurance premium that you will be offered. The quickest way to find the right policy for you is to do some comparison shopping online.
