The most desirable step for generating looks for both casual and formal occasions it to in all likelihood master eyeshadow makeup. It is quite a challenge to put on eyeshadow, some may think it is simple but in reality it is the opposite.

The difficult part lies on which shades to choose especially that eyeshadow palette shades are endless. The first step is choosing 3 shades of one color.

For instance, if you chose green, the other shades should include light green and moss green. Ideally, the lighter shade should have a bit of sheer effect as it is to be used as a highlighter.

Bear in mind in advance of applying eyeshadow, you should already have taken the steps of applying base makeup which has the concealer and foundation. With a brush when using it, move inwards from outside your face, cover the total area right beneath the eyebrows.

Also be aware that a highlight should have a shade that is able to be noticed only minimally. It would be suitable to use another brush a smaller clean one, then apply the slightly darker shade. The darker shade should cover the area underneath the fold of your eyes.

And finally, the darkest shade should be applied with a pointed sponge as it has to closely define the fold of your eyes. From the outside, move inwards making the shade lighter as you draw in. To complete the whole look, use eyeliner.

Although you might have the ideal eyeshadow makeup, you still need to know the actual fundamentals to pull off the look you are trying to achieve. Make it lighter for daywear. As for the nighttime makeup use darker and bold colors so the shades should be darker.

For day makeup, peach and neutrals are often used for the natural appeal. Keep in mind that if you already have heavy eyeshadow, your lips and cheeks has to be toned down.
