The textbook definition of EQ (or Emotional Intelligence Quotient) is the ability, capacity, skill or a self-perceived ability to identify, assess, and manage the emotions of one’s self, of others, and of groups.

Sounds boring. But, when you understand what it is, it becomes an exciting and dynamic dimension of Organizational Behavior and communication. EQ, at its basest form, is empathy. Being able to feel what others are feeling, relate to it, and help them work through it to become more productive, and to form important work relationships. Many people want to work on their EQ in order to improve their personal relationships, and their well-being. However, here we employ it in a way that can help all of the above.

A great friend of mine once said “The two most important days of your life are the day you that were born and the day that you Find Your WHY”. Right now you need to look inside and ask yourself a real serious question, “Have I found my WHY?” You were already born, and you really had no real say over what happened that day. You did not decide to be born. You are here because you are an individual miracle of God, but “Finding Your Why” is up to you and only you.

PC and network support staff are ever more sought after in the UK, as institutions are becoming more reliant upon their knowledge and skills. The need for such qualified and commercially astute people is growing at an impressive rate, as commercial enterprise becomes more and more reliant on computers.

It’s likely that you’ve always enjoyed practical work – a ‘hands-on’ type. If you’re anything like us, the world of book-reading and classrooms is something you’ll make yourself do if you have to, but it’s not really your thing. Consider interactive, multimedia study if books just don’t do it for you.
