On Day 6 of the GTD Thirty Day Challenge, I am going to talk about how I set up my tickler file and exactly how to set up a tickler file.

From what I can tell, David Allen is a big believer in the 43 folders tickler file. If you haven’t seen a tickler file before, it is 12 folders for each month and 31 folders for each day. Right now it’s January so I’d have my 31 folders behind January. As each day passes, I’d move the previous date behind February. Since today is the 21st for me. Folders for days 1-20 would now be behind the February tab.

Remember the theme song from the Rocky movie, “The Eye of the Tiger”?

When Rocky fought his opponent he had the focus of ‘the eye of the tiger’. When that song was written they couldn’t have had any idea the significance it would take on when a new Tiger took the world stage and changed sports forever.

I don’t care if you are a golf fan or a sports fan or if you think there is too much hype over this one particular athlete-yes golfers are athletes.

When you’ve created all 4 of your blueprints and you have all 4 of these areas functioning at a level that satisfies you, then your life will be more peaceful and effortless than you have ever imagined it could really be…

Both transient (short-term) insomnia and chronic (long-term) insomnia are experienced by approximately 40% to 50% of the population. Knowing the causes of insomnia may assist you in your own diagnosis and help you make changes to get the sleep that your body and mind need.

Short term insomnia is also referred to as transient insomnia. Usually changes in our habits or the environment in which we live and work contribute to the development of transient insomnia. If you are experiencing this type of insomnia, work to eliminate external factors causing your sleeplessness.

So you want to lucid dream. Well that’s a good start, at least you know what you want to do; but how exactly do you go about it?

It’s important to think about why you’d like to become a lucid dreamer, too. There are a number of benefits to dreaming this way, but first we should look at normal sleep, so we’ll understand them.

Have you ever considered the process of sleep before? Every night you make preparations, crawl into bed and go to sleep. You may have dreams or nightmares or all may just be dark for a few hours, it is rather boring isn’t it?

One of the biggest advantages of having a home security system is the peace of mind it gives us regarding our house and our possessions. Still, just like anything else we buy, when looking to purchase a home security burglar alarm system, we need to be sure our money is well spent and we are getting the options we need and expect.
